1. Architecture and processor configuration
This board adopts the 6U standard VME board type, compatible with 32-bit/33MHz VME bus, and can flexibly adapt to scenarios with different computing power requirements:
Support Motorola 68040/68030 series industrial grade CPUs, among which the 68040 model integrates a floating point unit (FPU) with 32-bit integer operation and high-precision floating point operation capabilities, capable of efficiently processing complex control algorithms (such as multivariable PID regulation and signal filtering analysis); The 68030 model focuses on balancing performance and cost, with no built-in FPU but stronger compatibility, suitable for logic control and data acquisition scenarios with low to medium computing power requirements.
2. Storage expansion capability
The board has a multi-level storage expansion design, balancing program stability and data access efficiency:
On board DRAM (data cache) and SRAM (high-speed temporary storage) can meet the temporary storage requirements during real-time data processing;
Supports external Flash/EPROM (Program Solidification Storage), with a maximum capacity that can be adapted according to the version. It is used to solidify the operating system, application programs, and configuration parameters to prevent data loss caused by unexpected power outages. At the same time, Flash storage supports local firmware upgrades to reduce maintenance difficulty.
3. I/O interface configuration
