1. Core control: high-density equipment access and scheduling
As the main control core module, it supports the management of multiple types of interface modules (10G/25G/40G) and can access over 200 terminal ports, adapting to the centralized control requirements of large aggregation/core layer devices;
Built in high-performance processing unit, capable of synchronously scheduling port traffic, VLAN partitioning, and QoS policies, ensuring efficient collaboration when multiple services (such as data, voice, and video) are concurrent.
2. Extended adaptation: Cross module and cross platform compatibility
Compatible with Extreme AL7000 series switch chassis, it can seamlessly match with interface modules of the same series (such as 25G SFP28 modules), and can be enabled without additional debugging;
Support integration with ExtremeCloud IQ (XIQ) and XMC management platform, capable of synchronously receiving machine operation and maintenance data, achieving hierarchical control of "module switch network".
3. Redundancy guarantee: dual control backup+fault insensitivity
Support dual module hot standby deployment (1+1 redundancy). In the event of a main controller module failure, the standby module will automatically take over all configurations and services within 50ms without any perceptual switching;
Built in real-time synchronization function, automatic synchronization of port parameters, security policies and other data between primary and backup modules, to avoid configuration loss or inconsistency after failure.
4. Security Enhancement: End to End Policy Control
It can integrate MACsec encryption control function to perform hardware level encryption on the port traffic of subordinate interface modules, preventing eavesdropping and tampering during data transmission;
Support module based micro segment strategy issuance, which can allocate independent security rules to different interface modules according to business domains (such as office and production), improving network isolation.
