GIDINGS&LEWIS FSM490-B24 servo motors perform excellently in terms of power output. Its rated power is about 2.2 kW, achieving extremely high power density in a compact structure, ensuring that the equipment can also obtain sufficient power in a limited space. At a rated speed of 3000RPM, the motor can stably output a rated torque of approximately 9.3Nm and has a higher peak torque, which can meet the demanding requirements of high-speed operation and high-precision motion control scenarios. Whether in fast cutting of CNC machine tools or precise positioning of automated production lines, this motor can ensure the stability and accuracy of equipment operation with excellent torque performance.
Electrical Characteristics
This servo motor adopts 240VAC three-phase power supply, with a continuous current of about 9A. When facing high loads, the peak current can reach 19A, demonstrating strong high-speed and high load dynamic response capabilities. It can quickly adjust the output according to instructions, ensuring the timeliness and smoothness of equipment operation. Some models are equipped with 24VDC electromagnetic brakes, which immediately activate when the motor stops running, enhancing the stopping and holding performance of the equipment, greatly improving the safety of the equipment during operation, effectively preventing accidental movement or sliding, and providing reliable protection for industrial production.

The GIDINGS&LEWIS FSM490-B24 servo motor is designed specifically for use with Giddings&Lewis or Kollmorgen series servo drives.
